Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for your interest in the Reform Temple of Putnam Valley. I want to welcome you to our warm, caring, diverse and inclusive Jewish community. We are a family-oriented congregation serving Putnam and Northern Westchester. Our congregation is particularly sensitive to the varied needs of members; individuals raised in various Jewish traditions, Jews-by-choice and non-Jewish members of congregants’ families. This warm atmosphere encourages newcomers to share in all aspects of temple life. We are also very proud of our commitment to the community, most notably with our involvement as co-founders of the Putnam Valley Food Pantry.

Come meet our Rabbis, Steve Altarescu and Laurie Levy, visit our religious school, enjoy our events. Services are held each Friday evening at 8 pm. A unique early service is held on the first Friday of the month. This is a one hour service, beginning at 6:30PM and followed by a pot luck dinner and oneg. We have numerous events planned throughout the year. Watch for our Sukkah Fest, Hannukah Fest, Purim Festival, Sisterhood and Mens Club Events, Social Outreach and more.

We hope to have the chance to speak with you in person or on the phone to answer any questions you may have, and to welcome you to our temple. Feel free to send an email for more information or to arrange a phone conversation.
